Hello Stingray Families!

Our fifth meet of the season is tomorrow at Surreywood. The last meet was hosted by the YMCA, This week, it’s all Surreywood! Putting on a home meet is a true community effort, and we need everyone's help to get the lineup set and the deck ready!

Please read through these details carefully, as there are a few time-sensitive tasks for Monday and Tuesday.

🚨 ACTION REQUIRED: Declare Your Swimmer by Monday at 2:00 PM!

We need to know exactly who is swimming so the coaches can build the meet lineup.

• Deadline: Monday (June 29th) by 2:00 PM
• How: Log into the SwimTopia app, go to the Week 5 meet, and click "Meet Declaration" to mark your swimmer as Attending or Not Attending.
• Even if your swimmer cannot make it, please mark them as "Not Attending" so we know they are accounted for!

⏱️ Tuesday Timeline & Home Team Warm-Ups

Because we are the hosting team, our warm-up slot is the earlier session. Please arrive on time so our swimmers can get a proper warm-up in the water!

• 4:30 PM: Swimmer Check-In (Please arrive by this time)
• 4:45 PM – 5:15 PM: Surreywood Stingrays Warm-Ups
• 5:15 PM – 5:45 PM: Visiting Team Warm-Ups
• 5:45 PM: Officials and Timers Meeting
• 6:00 PM: National Anthem & First Event

📋 We Need You: Volunteer Sign-Ups!

Swim meets are literally a team effort. We still have SEVERAL critical open slots to fill for Tuesday night. (We only one second half timer so far, for example) . Having trouble signing up to volunteer? Please email [email protected]. All swim families are required to volunteer throughout the season.

🍰 Bake Sale Donations Needed!

Our famous Stingrays Bake Sale is back! If you are able to donate sweet treats this week, please make sure all baked goods are pre-packaged into individual servings (e.g., single cookies in ziplock bags, individually wrapped brownies, etc.). This helps makes checkout a breeze for our volunteers. Thank you for your delicious support!

👕 Stingrays T-Shirts Update

The t-shirts are hot off the presses and will be distributed by next week. A tie-dye event will be announced in coordination. Thank you for your patience.

🍦End of Season Ice Cream Celebration!, MONDAY, July 6

After the last meet, the Harris family has graciously agreed to host an ice cream party. All are invited and encouraged to bring yummy toppings. Location: 7741 Stonetree Drive, North Chesterfield, VA 23235 (Reminder the last meet is on a Monday!)
