Welcome Surreywood Stingrays!
The Surreywood Swim Club is home of the Surreywood Stingrays.
The Stingrays are part of the Richmond Metro Aquatic League (RMAL) and compete in Division C. During the swim season, which runs from May 18-July 14, there are daily (M-F) practices. There are six swim meets during the season, usually held on a Tuesday evening. Champs are held at the end of the season for swimmers who qualify.
The Stingrays accept swimmers ages 4-19 who can swim the length of the pool. We have a 6 lane, 25 meter pool for meets and practices. All levels of swimmers are welcome!
The Surreywood Swim Club is located at
North Chesterfield, VA 23235

Fundraising
Ways you can help
We will have many events for you to participate in that will help the Surreywood Stingrays with the cost of operating our team: paying coaches, providing end-of-the-year medals, buying meet supplies, paying for swim team entry fees to RMAL, maintaining our equipment and more. Each family is encouraged to participate in as many fundraising activities as possible. Ways you can help:
Bake sale – please bring a generous amount of baked goods, fruit portions, etc. to be sold for $1 each to our home meets. We really can raise a lot of funds for our team this way!
Concessions – buying concession food during home meets reduces your prep time getting ready for the meet and directly supports the team.
Spirit Wear – buying additional team clothing shows your team spirit as well as helps defray our costs.
Photos – preserve the wonderful memories of a fun swim team summer! Our photographer, Danielle Paquette, donates a portion back to support the team.
Virginia Swim Shop – The store donates a portion of every Surreywood-related sale back to the pool. Purchasing your gear at the mobile shop is convenient and supports the team.
